Anybody else wonder if this is business or a rescue?

They deliberately switched back and forth with us.
It was VERY deceptive and confusing. We found out that they
use SIX different business names. Why would a rescue need to do that?

Are they Shelter Dogs To Dream Dogs? SCM&K Enterprises?
Cate's Critters? Learning with Love Dog Training?
Dream Dog Academy? Happy Cat Rescue?

IRS tax exempt? Here is the form shown on
Shelter Dogs To Dream Dogs website
asking for donations.

** Why is the name blocked out? **

Shelter Dogs To Dream Dogs
isn't listed on any IRS websites,
in California or in the USA as a charity.

We were able to find what they are doing
but not easily. One has to wonder why
they would white out their name.
Why no transparency ?

We found a DBA for Shelter Dogs To
Dream Dogs. Here are the 990's from 2013.

Of the $ 148,748 in donations
for their SCM&K Enterprises
they used $84,000 for their rent and utilities.
That's $ 7,000 A MONTH in donations used.
Over 50% of the donations received were for this.
and only $2995 used for pet supplies.
Are the donors the Sacks themselves?
Read near the bottom of the page what
Steele Sacks publically posted on the internet
and wrote to the BBB. Stating he has only received $3000
in donations....

Why is the name gone? It's been altered and blocked. Why no transparency?

(full complaint/response here, at the time of our complaint and request for a refund, we did not know all of the facts )

I make enough & worked my ass off for it, and we dont need it,
this was a labor of love and an amazing gift given to Cate.  
Money... Since the inception of SDTDD
we have had one or two (maybe 3) donations amounting to maybe $3,000...
Where has all the money to rescue animals, rehab them,
and find homes for them come from...
The loyal group who pays to get training, boarding, & BootCamps & ME!.
 They know how amazing they are & we thank them for all their help all the time."  

"This has been a horrible transaction and a ton of work was put into this animal to save it !
STDD has saved 2500 aniamls, never having to put down an animal except this one."

One of the poor dogs had scored a B on his temperament test just days before
"Cate Sacks" the "dog trainer"
took him to her home, then brought him back and ordered him killed.

By Steele Sacks own admission, we are left guess that Mr. Sacks only collected $3000 in donations?
The math just doesn't add, much like everything else they say.

How does he make his house payment of $7000 a month and write it off?
And claims less than $3000 for Pet Supplies?
They only accept cash ~ advertised per Adopt A Pet.com/Craigslist for their adoptions.

Is this really a charity dedicated to helping rescue dogs ?
Or a training business? As a consumer, this is very deceptive and confusing. . . .
